Natural Anodizing

Anodising is accomplished by immersing the aluminium into an acid electrolyte solution and passing a current through the aluminium. A cathode is mounted to the inside of the Anodising tank; the aluminium acts as an anode, so that oxygen ions are released from the electrolyte to combine with the aluminium atoms at the surface of the part being anodised. Anodising is, therefore, a matter of highly controlled oxidation - the enhancement of a naturally occurring phenomenon.

Different types of finishes can be obtained depending upon the requirement of the customer and the process adopted. The different finishes can be obtained by varying the Parameters of the processes.

Satin Finish: In this process the surface has a glittering effect and is mostly preferred where aesthetical views need to be improved.

Matt Finish: As the name tells this finish is totally matte in nature. With proper material composition milky white finish can be obtained on the surface.

Glossy Finish: This is a smooth surface with mirror finish, where the anodizing layer makes the effect permanent.
